Special Train from Jodhpur to Secunderabad

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, o­ne special train will be run from Jodhpur to Secunderabad as per the following schedule:-

Train No. 04803 Jodhpur-Secunderabad Special Train will depart Jodhpur at 05 00 pm (Monday) o­n 30th June 2014 and arrive Secunderabad at 05:30 am o­n Wednesday.

Enroute, this special train will stop at Luni, Parli Marwar, Marwar Jn, Abu Rd, Palanpur, Mahesana, Ahmedabad, Anand Nagar, Vadodara, Surat, Vapi, Vasai Rd, Kalyan Jun, Lonavala, Pune, Solapur, Wadi, Tandur, Vikarabad and Lingampalli stations.

This train will consists of 21 coaches viz, o­ne AC III Tier, sixteen General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

Suspension of Neral-Matheran Services due to monsoon

Central Railway has decided to suspend the services between Neral and Matheran with immediate effect as monsoon has set in.

However, shuttle services between Matheran and Aman Lodge will continue to run as per scheduled timetable published and in force w.e.f. July 2013. The re-opening of the section for running of services between Neral and Matheran will be notified later.

Superfast Jansadharan Special Trains for Darbhanga and Varanasi

Railways have decided to extend the run of Superfast Jansadharan special trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus- Darbhanga and between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Varanasi to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details are as under –

A) LOKMANYA TILAK TERMINUS-DARBHANGA (4)

02049 Superfast jansadharan special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 16.40 hours o­n Thursday 19.6.2014 & 26.6.2014 (2 trips) and will arrive Darbhanga at 02.25 hours o­n third day i.e. Saturday.

02050 Superfast jansadharan special will leave Darbhanga at 13.10 hours o­n Saturday 21.6.2014 & 28.6.2014 (2 trips) and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 23.45 hours next day i.e. Sunday.

Halts: Nasik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Manikpur, Mughalsarai and Patna.

B) LOKMANYA TILAK TERMINUS-VARANASI (2)

Railways have decided to run 12 Superfast Special trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Allahabad to clear the extra rush of Passengers. The details are as under -

04116 Weekly Superfast Special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 13.20 hrs o­n every Saturday from 21.6.2014 to 26.7.2014 (6 trips) and will arrive Allahabad at 13.30 hrs next day.

04115 Weekly Superfast Special will leave Allahabad at 12.30 hrs o­n every Friday from 20.6.2014 to 25.7.2014 (6 trips) and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 11.50 hrs next day.

HALTS: Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Manmad, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Lalitpur, Jhansi, Orai, Pokhrayan, Kanpur.

To clear wait listed tickets and for providing comfortable journey to the passengers, East Coast Railway has decided to run a weekly Premium Special Train between Bhubaneswar & New Delhi.

00815 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Bhubaneswar at 0810hrs o­n every Sunday between 6th July to 31stAugust 2014 and will arrive at New Delhi at 0845hrs o­n Mondays. In the return Direction, 00816 New Delhi-Bhubaneswar weekly Premium Super Fast Special will leave New Delhi at 1300hrs o­n every Monday between 7th July to 1stSeptember 2014 and will arrive at Bhubaneswar at 1105hrs o­n Tuesdays during the period.

This train will run with o­ne AC-2 tier, Four AC-3 tiers, Eleven Sleeper Class Coaches, Two Guard cum Luggage Vans and o­ne Pantry Car in its composition having stoppages at Cuttack, Adra, Gaya, Allahabad & Kanpur between Bhubaneswar & New Delhi.

Apart from this, it has been decided torun o­ne more weekly Premium Special Train between New Jalpaigudi & Tiruchchirappalli having stoppages atBhadrak, Bhubaneswar and Duvvada in East Coast Railway jurisdiction.

ECoR TO EXTEND THE SERVICES OF SPECIAL TRAINS

To clear wait listed passengers and to provide comfortable journey to the passengers, East Coast Railway has decided to extend the services of Bhubaneswar-Yesvantpur premium special trains upto last week of August 2014 and Sambalpur-Yesvantpur, Puri-Santragachhi and Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad special trains up to last week of September 2014. This has been done keeping in mind the positive response and feedback from rail-users and media.

EXTENSION OF RUN OF PREMIUM A.C. SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN LUCKNOW JN.- KATHGODAM

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during the current summer season, the Railway has decided to extend the run of Premium A.C. Express Special Train No. 05037/05038 Lucknow Jn.- Kathgodam- Lucknow Jn. (three trips in each direction) as per the following schedule:-

The 05037 Lucknow Jn.- Kathgodam Premium A.C. Special train will depart from Lucknow Jn. at 05.15 a.m.to reach Kathgodam at 12.55 noon the same day while in the return direction, the 05038 Kathgodam- Lucknow Jn. Premium A.C. special train will depart from Kathgodam at 02.10 p.m. to reach Lucknow Jn. at09.50 p.m. the same day o­n 26, 28 & 29.06.2014 (three trips in each direction).

The 05037/05038 Lucknow Jn.- Kathgodam- Lucknow Jn. Premium A.C. Special train having A.C. Chair Car coaches, will stop at Bareilly, Rampur, Rudrapur City, Lalkuan & Haldwani stations enroute in the both directions.

SPECIAL RATH YATRA TRAIN FROM BHAWANIPATNA VIA BALANGIR & SAMBALPUR

The specialty of this year’s Rath Yatra Special trains announced by East Coast Railway is the addition of new point “Bhawanipatna” from where a special train to Puri would be run for Gundicha Yatra.

This train will start from Bhawanipatna at 0830hrs of 28th June 2014 and reach Puri at 0330 hrs o­n 29th June 2014. It is planned to run this train via Titlagarh- Balangir- Sambalpur- Angul with stoppages at all en route stations. ECoR’s decision to introduce a special train from Bhawanipatna this year has been widely welcomed.

Further, it may be mentioned that special Gundicha Rath Yatra trains to Puri are being run from Howrah, Visakhapatnam, Palasa, Kharagpur, Kendujhargarh, Bhadrak, Sambalpur, Brahmapur, Paradeep and Cuttack.

To cater to the rush of passengers, Eastern Railway will run two pairs of Special trains between Sealdah and Puri stations.

03101 Up Sealdah - Puri Special leaving Sealdah station at 15:40 hrs. o­n 27 June & 5 July, 2014 will arrive atPuriat 1:30 hrs. o­n the next days while 03102 Dn Puri-Sealdah Special leaving Puri station at 00:30 hrs. (i.e. 12:30 a.m. midnight) o­n 29 June & 7 July, 2014 will reach Sealdah at 11:15 hrs. o­n the same days.

This train ( 03101 Up/03102 Dn) will have AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier & Sleeper Class accommodations and will stop at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur-Keonjhar Rd, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar & Khurda Road stations enroute in both the directions.

Eastern Railway will also run o­ne pair of Superfast Special train from Howrah to Guwahati and back.

03057 Up Howrah-Guwahati Superfast Special train will leave Howrah at 00:30 hrs. (i.e. 12:30 a.m.midnight) o­n 24 June, 2014 and will reach Guwahati at 16:50 hrs. o­n the same day. In return journey 03058 Dn Guwahati-Howrah Supefast Special will start from Guwahati at 20:15 hrs. o­n 24 June, 2014 and will arrive at Howrah station at 12:20 hrs. (noon) o­n the next day.

This train (03057 Up/03058 Dn) will have AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier & Sleeper Class accommodations and will stop at Malda Town, New Jalpaiguri, New Coochbihar & New Bongaigaonstations enroute in both the directions.

Booking for Up direction journey by all these Special trains will be available from 18 June, 2014.



CANCELLATION OF TWO TRIPS OF HOWRAH – NEW JALPAIGURI PREMIUM SPECIAL TRAIN

03059 Up/03060 Dn Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Premium Special train will remain cancelled both from New Jalpaiguri and Howrah stations o­n 21 & 28 June, 2014, due to poor patronage.

A.C.SUPER FAST SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN JAIPUR AND DELHI SARAI ROHILLA

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during the current summer season, the Railways has decided to run A.C.super fast special train No. 09705/09706 between Jaipur and Delhi Sarai Rohilla  as per the following schedule:-

 09705/09706  A.C. SUPER FAST SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN JAIPUR AND DELHI SARAI ROHILLA(SIX DAYS A WEEK)

 The 09705 Jaipur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla A.C. super fast special train will depart from Jaipur at 07.55 a.m(except Thursday) from 13.6.2014 to 30.06.2014 to reach Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 01.20 p.m. the same day. In the return direction, the 09706  Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Jaipur  A.C. super fast special train will depart from Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 03.00 p.m. (except Thursday)  from 13.6.2014  to  30.06.2014 to reach Jaipur at08.05 p.m. the same day .

 The 09705/09706 Jaipur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Jaipur A.C. super fast special train having 01 Executive A.C. chair car & 08 A.C. chair car coaches, will stop at Gandhi Nagar Jaipur,Getor Jagatpura, Dausa,Bandikui Jn,Alwar,Khairthal, Rewari,Gurgaon & Delhi Cantt stations enroute in the both directions.

Special Trains between Aurangabad – Tirupati; Secunderabad – Vijayawada; Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway will extend the run of Special Trains between Aurangabad – Tirupati,  Secunderabad – Vijayawada and Secunderabad - Visakhapatnam  for some more trips as per the following schedule:- 1.Aurangabad – Tirupati – Aurangabad Special Train  (4 services): Train No. 07405 Aurangabad-Tirupati Special Train will depart Aurangabad at 03:00 pm o­n 4th & 11th July, 2014 (Friday) and arrive Tirupati at 03:30 pm o­n the next day. In the return direction, Train No.07406 Tirupati-Aurangabad Special train will depart Tirupati at 05:10 pmo­n 5th & 12th July, 2014 (Saturday) and arrive Aurangabad at 08:00 pm o­n the next day.  Enroute, these special trains will stop at Jalna, Parbhani, Purna, Nanded, Mudhked, Basar, Nizambad, Kamareddi, Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, o­ngole, Nellore, Gudur, Venkatagiri, Srikalahasti and Renigunta stations in both directions. These special trains will consist of 15 Coaches viz., o­ne AC III Tier, six Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two General Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches. 2. Secunderabad – Vijayawada – Secunderabad Special Train  (4 services): Train No. 07208 Secunderabad – Vijayawada special train will depart Secunderabad at 11:15 pm o­n 4th & 11th July, 2014 (Fridays) and arrive Vijayawada at 05:45 am o­n the next day. In the opposite direction, Train No. 07207 Vijayawada - Secunderabad special train will depart Vijayawada at 11:00 pm o­n 3rd & 10th July, 2014 (Thursdays) and arrive Secunderabad at 05:40 am o­n the next day. Enroute, these special trains will stop at Nalgonda, Miryalguda, Nadikude, Piduguralla, Sattenapalle, Guntur and Mangalagiri stations. These special trains will have o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, six Sleeper Class, five General Second Class and two second class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.  3. Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam – Secunderabad Special Train  (4 services): Train No. 02728 Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam AC Superfast Special Train will depart Secunderabad at10:10 pm o­n 4th & 11th July, 2014 (Fridays) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 10:35 am o­n the next day. In the opposite direction, Train No.02727 Visakhapatnam - Secunderabad AC Superfast Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 7:05 pm o­n 5th & 12th July, 2014 (Saturdays) and arrive Secunderabad at 07 50 am o­n the next day. Enroute, these AC special trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada stations in both the directions. These trains will have 17 coaches viz, o­ne AC First Class, three AC II Tier, eleven AC III Tier and two power car coaches.

South Central Railway will run two Premium Superfast Special trains between Secunderabad and Hazrat Nizamuddinin order to clear extra rush of passengers during summer season. Accordingly, Train No. 02723 Secunderabad-HazratNizamuddin Premium Superfast Special train will depart Secunderabad at 11:55 am o­n 6th July, 2014 (Sunday) and arrive HazratNizamuddin at 01:25 pm o­n the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 02724 Hazrat Nizamuddin - Secunderabad Superfast Premium Special train will depart HazratNizamuddin at 07:20 pm o­n 7th July, 2014 (Monday)and arrive Secunderabad at08:55 pm o­n the next day.             These trains will have o­nly five stoppages enroute viz., Ramagundam, Nagpur, Bhopal, Jhansi and Agra Cantonment.  These trains will have 16 Coaches viz., two AC II Tier, three AC III Tier, eight Sleeper Class, o­ne Pantry Car and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van coaches.             Advance booking for this Premium train will commence at 8:00 am o­n 26th June 2014.

Railway has decided to change the name of the 14605/14606 Amritsar- Lalkuan- Amritsar Express as ‘Garib Rath’ Express Trainwith immediate effect with existing timings, composition & stoppages.

RAILWAY EXTENDS SERVICES OF 04507/04508 CHANDIGARH- FIROZPUR- CHANDIGARH EXPRESS SPECIAL TRAIN

 For the facility of rail passengers during the current peak Summer rush season, Northern Railway has decided to extend the services of the 04507/04508 Chandigarh- Firozpur - Chandigarh Express Special Train with existing timings, composition & stoppages for ten more trips in each direction as per the following programme:-

In its extended run ,the 04507 Chandigarh- Firozpur Express Special Trainwill run from Chandigarh from11.06.2014 to 30.06.2014 (20 Trips) while in the return direction, the 04508 Firozpur – Chandigarh Express Special Trainwill run from Firozpur from 12.06.2014 to 01.07.2014 (20 Trips).

There is no change in the timings, stoppages, route and the schedule of both the directions.

 The 09705 Jaipur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla A.C. super fast special train will depart from Jaipur at 07.55 a.m (exceptThursday) from 13.6.2014  to 30.06.2014 to reach Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 01.20 p.m. the same day. In the return direction, the 09706  Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Jaipur  A.C. super fast special train will depart from Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 03.00 p.m. (except Thursday)  from 13.6.2014  to  30.06.2014 to reach Jaipur at 08.05 p.m. the same day .

 The 09705/09706 Jaipur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Jaipur A.C. super fast special train having 01 Executive A.C. chair car & 07 A.C. chair car coaches, will stop at Gandhi Nagar Jaipur,Dausa,Bandikui Jn, Alwar, Khairthal, Rewari, Gurgaon & Delhi Cantt stations enroute in the both directions.

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during summer season, South Central Railway will temporarily augment the following Express Trains with additional coach:-

Train No. 12747 Guntur – Vikarabad Palnadu Express will be augmented with one AC Chair Car from 16th June to 23rd June, 2014.
   2. Train No. 12748 Vikarabad – Guntur Palnadu Express will be augmented with one AC Chair Car from 16th June to 23rd June, 2014.
