NWR to run three summer special trains

Expecting a heavy turnout of passengers during the summer vacations, the North Western Railways has decided to run three special trains. Jaipur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla, Ajmer-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Tri-Weekly Express and Bikaner-Haridwar Weekly Express will be the trains from NWR.

These three trains will run for a period of three months from April 1 to June 30.

Apart from this, the North Western Railways has decided for a temporary one-minute stoppage at Vindhyachal Station for Howrah-Jodhpur Express on the occasion of Chaitra Navratra.

The Jaipur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Special train will now be running for six days a week. It will depart from Jaipur at 8’o clock in the morning and reach Sarai Rohilla station in Delhi at 1.20 pm. On other hand, it will leave Delhi at3.10 pm and reach Jaipur at 8.05 pm. The train will not run on Thursdays

SPECIAL TRAINS

1. Special train from Tirunelveli to Chennai Egmore (via.Dindigul, Karur, Namakkal)

            Train No.06028 Tirunelveli – Chennai Egmore super fast special train (via.Dindigul, Karur, Namakkal) will leave Tirunelveli at 05.00 hrs. o­n 01.04.2015 and arrive Chennai Egmore at  19.00 hrs. the same day.

The composition of the train will be 21 Sleeper Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

            The train will stop at Kovilpatti, Satur, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Kodaikanal Road, Dindigul, Karur, Namakkal, Rasipuram, Salem, Morappur, Jolarpettai, Vaniyambadi, Ambur, Katpadi, Arakkonam and Perambur.

2. Special train from Tirunelveli to Chennai Egmore (via.Dindigul, Karur, Namakkal)

            Train No.06029 Tirunelveli – Chennai Egmore super fast special train (via.Dindigul, Karur, Namakkal) will leave Tirunelveli at 05.00 hrs. o­n 02.04.2015 and arrive Chennai Egmore at  19.00 hrs. the same day.

The composition of the train will be 21 Sleeper Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

            Train No.06031 Chennai Egmore – Tirunelveli superfast special train (via.Chord line) will leave Chennai Egmore at 15.00 hrs. o­n 05.04.2015 and arrive Tirunelveli at 03.00 hrs. the next day.

            The composition of the trains will be 21 Sleeper Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

            Train No.06034 Chennai Central – Thiruvananthapuram superfast special train will leave Chennai Central at 18.15 hrs. o­n 02.04.2015 & 30.04.2015 and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 11.00 hrs. the next day.

            The composition of the trains will be 2 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 11 sleeper class,     2 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

6. Superfast special trains between Ernakulam Jn. – Chennai Central

            Train No.06035 Ernakulam Jn. – Chennai Central superfast special train will leave Ernakulam at 19.00 hrs. o­n 09.04.2015 and reach Chennai Central at 07.15 hrs. the next day.

            Train No.06036 Chennai Central – Ernakulam Jn. superfast special train will leave Chennai Central at 22.30 hrs. o­n 10.04.2015 and reach Ernakulam at 10.50 hrs. the next day.

            The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 11 sleeper class, 3 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

Central Railway has decided to run 78 weekly summer special trains between Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai – Chalisgaon, Bhusaval - Chalisgaon and Chalisgaon - Dhule to clear the extra rush of passengers during summer season 2015. The details are as under:

Train No. 01154 Weekly Summer Special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai at 15.35 hrs o­n everyTuesday from 7.4.2015 to 30.6.2015 (13 trips) and will arrive Chalisgaon at 21.10 hrs same day.

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during Ugadi festival, South Central Railway will run four special trains between Hyderabad – Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad - Visakhapatnam as per the following schedule:-

    Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Ugadi Special

Train No. 02728 Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam Special Train will depart Hyderabad at 09:00 pm o­n 20stMarch, 2015 (Friday) arrive/depart Secunderabad at 9:30/9:40 pm and arrive Visakhapatnam at 10:25 am o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No.02727 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at04:45 pm o­n 21st March, 2015 (Saturday) and arrive Secunderabad at 05:30 am o­n the next day.

    Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Ugadi Special

Train No. 02728 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 09:40 pm o­n 22ndMarch, 2015 (Sunday) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 10:25 am o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No.02727 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at04:45 pm o­n 23rd March, 2015 (Monday) and arrive Secunderabad at 05:30 am o­n the next day.

Enroute, both these Ugadi special trains will stop at Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Nadikude, Piduguralla, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada stations in both the directions.

These trains will have 17 coaches viz, o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, eight Sleeper Class, o­ne Second Class Chair Car, four General Second Class and two Second Class luggage cum brake van coaches.

PERMANENT AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

Train No.12647/12648 Coimbatore – Hazrat Nizamuddin – Coimbatore Kongu weekly express trains will be permanently augmented by 1 second class sleeper coach ex. Coimbatore from 22.03.2015 and ex. Hazrat Nizamuddin from 25.03.2015.

Train No.12664/12663 Tiruchchirappalli – Howrah – Tiruchchirappalli bi-weekly express trains will be permanently augmented by 1 AC 3-tier coach ex. Tiruchchirappalli from 20.03.2015 and ex. Howrah from22.03.2015.

Train No.12682/12681 Coimbatore – Chennai Central – Coimbatore weekly express trains will be permanently augmented by 1 second class sleeper coach ex. Coimbatore from 20.03.2015 and ex. Chennai Central from21.03.2015.

Train No.12689/12690 Chennai Central – Nagercoil – Chennai Central weekly express trains will be permanently augmented by 2 second class sleeper coaches ex. Chennai Central from 20.03.2015 and ex. Nagercoil from22.03.2015.

Train No.16031/16032 Chennai Central – Jammu Tawi – Chennai Central Andamantri-weekly express trains will be permanently augmented by 1 second class sleeper coach ex. Chennai Central from 18.03.2015 and ex. Jammu Tawi from 20.03.2015.

In the return direction, the 04736 Haridwar-Bikaner Weekly Express summer special train will depart from Haridwar on everySaturday from 04.04.2015 to 27.06.2015 (13 trips)at 07.55 p.m.to reach Bikaner at 09.40 a.m. the next day.

AUGMENTATION OF EXPRESS TRAINS

In order to cater to the extra rush of rail passengers and to enhance the passenger carrying capacity, Railway has decided to augment the train no. 11071/11072 Lokmanya Tilak T.- Varanasi- Lokmanya Tilak T. Kamayani Express o­nPermanent basis & 12501/12502 Guwahati- New Delhi- Guwahati Poorvottar Sampark Kranti Express o­n Temporary basis as under:

Permanent Augmentation:

The 11071/11072 Lokmanya Tilak T.- Varanasi- Lokmanya Tilak T. Kamayani Express Train will be augmented by one additional AC 3 Tier Coach from 17.03.2015 when departing from Lokmanya Tilak T.  and from 19.03.2015when departing from  Varanasi.

Temporary Augmentation:

The 12501/12502 Guwahati- New Delhi- Guwahati Poorvottar Sampark Kranti Express Train will be augmented by one additional First AC cum AC 2 Tier Coach upto 31.03.2015 when departing from Guwahati  and upto 01.04.2015when departing from  New Delhi with immediate effect.

Other features like route, timings, stoppages etc. will remain unchanged.

PREMIUM SUPERFAST SUMMER SPECIAL BETWEEN SURAT AND CHHPRA

In order to cater to the extra rush of passengers during summer season, the Railway has decided to run Premium Special Train No. 09051/09052 Surat-Chhapra-Surat (Weekly) Premium “Super Fast” special train (13 trips in each direction) as per following programme:- The 09051 Surat-Chhapra (Weekly) Premium “Super Fast” special train will depart from Surat at 06.10 a.m. o­n every Saturday from 04.04.2015 to 27.06.2015 (13 trips) to reach Chhapra at 10.50 a.m. the next day (Sunday). In the return direction, the 09052 Surat-Chhapra (Weekly) Premium “Super Fast” special train will depart from Chhapra at01.25 p.m. o­n every Sunday from 05.04.2015 to 28.06.2015 (13  trips)  to reach Surat at 04.50 p.m. the next day (Monday). Having two AC 2 tier, two AC 3 tier and ten sleeper accommodation besides pantry car, the train will stop at Bhusawal , Jabalpur , Chheoki , Varanasi  and Ballia stations enroute in both directions.

Kolhapur - Purna Weekly Summer Specials

Central Railway has decided to run 30 weekly summer special trains between Kolhapur - Purna to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details are as under:

01419 / 01420 Kolhapur - Purna weekly specials (30)

Train No. 01419 Weekly Summer Special will Kolhapur at 15.45 hrs o­n every Wednesday from 18.03.2015 to 24.06.2015 (15 trips) and will arrive Purna at 08.20 hrs next day.

Train No. 01420 Weekly Summer Special will leave Purna at 11.10 hrs o­n every Thursday from 19.03.2015 to 25.06.2015 (15 trips) and will arrive Kolhapur at 00.50 hrs next day.

Halts : Rukadi, Hatkanangale, Miraj, Kavathe Mahankal, Dhalgaon, Sangola, Pandharpur, Modlimb, Kurduwadi Jn, Barsi Town, Usmanabad, Latur, Latur Road, Parli Vaijnath and Parbhani.

Premium superfast speical train between BDTS-Jodhpur and Surat-Patna ansd Surat-Chhapra

To clear extra rush during summer vacations, Western Railway will run three premium superfast special trains between Bandra Tr.- Jodhpur, Surat  - Chhapra and Surat - Patna.

Bandra(T)-Jodhpur (Weekly) Super Fast AC Premium Special Train (26 services)

Train No. 09043 Bandra (T)- Jodhpur Weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Bandra (T) at 23.55 hrs o­n every Monday and will reach Jodhpur at 16.20 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 6th April to 29th June, 2015.

Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09044 Jodhpur - Bandra (T) Weekly Premium AC Super Fast Special train will leave Jodhpur at 11.20 hrs o­n every Wednesday and reach Bandra (T) at 04.15 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 8th April to 1st July, 2015.

The train will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier Coaches & Pantry Car.

The train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Ahmedabad, Falna and Pali Marwar stations in both directions.

Surat - Chhapra (Weekly) Premium Super Fast Special Train (26 services)

Train No. 09051 Surat - Chhapra Weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Surat at 06.10 hrs o­n every Saturday and will reach Chhapra at 10.50 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 4th April to 27th June, 2015.

Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09052 Chhapra - Surat Weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Chhapra at 13.25 hrs o­n every Sunday and reach Surat at 16.50 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 5th April to 28th June, 2015.

Train No. 09055 Surat - Patna Weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Surat at 06.10 hrs o­n everyTuesday and will reach Patna at 10.40 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 7th April to 30th June, 2015.

Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09056 Patna - Surat Weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Patna at 14.55 hrs o­n every Wednesday and reach Surat at 19.55 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 8th April to 1st July, 2015.

The train will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper class Coaches & Pantry Car.

The train will halt at Bhusawal, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Chheoki, and Mughalsarai stations in both directions.

Booking for these Premium trains will open 15 days prior to the date of journey as per Advance Reservation period scheduled for Premium trains o­nly through IRCTC website.

TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION

In order to clear waitlisted passengers and extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway has temporarily augmented the following Trains with additional Sleeper Class Coaches as detailed below:- 1.Train No. 17401 Tirupati - Machilipatnam Express will be augmented with Sleeper Class Coach from 9th to 15th March, 2015. 2.Train No. 17402 Machilipatnam - Tirupati Express will be augmented with Sleeper Class Coach from 10th to 16th March, 2015. 3.   Train No. 17429 Hyderabad-Tirupati Rayalaseema Express will be augmented with Sleeper Class Coach from 9th to 15th March, 2015. 4.Train No. 17430 Tirupati - Hyderabad Express will be augmented with Sleeper Class Coach from 10th to 16th March, 2015. 5.Train No. 57477 Tirupati - Guntakal Passenger will be augmented Sleeper Class Coach from 9th to 15th March, 2015. 6.   Train No. 57478 Guntakal - Tirupati Passenger will be augmented Sleeper Class Coach from 10th to 16th March, 2015.

Bandra Gorakhpur Premium summer Special train

EXTENSION OF MUMBAI CENTRAL-NEW DELHI-MUMBAI CENTRAL PREMIUM SPECIAL TRAIN

  In order to clear extra rush of rail passenger traffic, Railway has decided to extend the run of train no. 22913/22914 Mumbai Central-New Delhi-Mumbai Central Tri- Weekly " Premium A.C. Super Fast"  holiday specials o­n existing days, composition, timings and stoppages. The 22913/22914 Mumbai Central-New Delhi-Mumbai Central" Premium A.C. Super Fast" Tri- Weekly train with extended period of run will be as follows:-

            The 22913/22914 Mumbai Central- New Delhi- Mumbai Central Tri- Weekly " Premium A.C. Super Fast"  Express train will be extended to run from 11.03.2015 to 15.04.2015 (16 trips) o­n every Wednesday, Friday & Sunday when departing from Mumbai Central and from 12.03.2015 to 16.04.2015 (16  trips) o­n every Thursday, Saturday & Monday when departing from New Delhi.

ECoR TO RUN SUMMER SPECIAL TRAINS

With a view to clearing additional rush of passengers during Summer Season 2015, East Coast Railway has decided to run 07 pairs of weekly & bi-weekly summer special trains towards different destinations of the country from its jurisdiction by creating more than one lakh thirty thousand additional berths.

These trains are Bhubaneswar-Bangalore Cant. Bi-weekly Super Fast PREMIUM,Bhubaneswar-Pune weekly Super Fast PREMIUM, Bhubaneswar-Patna Weekly Special, Puri-Santragachi Weekly Special, Sambalpur-Yesvantpur Weekly Special, Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Weekly Special and Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Weekly Special trains.

00851 Bhubaneswar-Bangalore Cant bi-weekly PREMIUM Special train will leave Bhubaneswar at 2250hrs o­n every Saturday & Wednesday and will reach at Bangalore Cant at 2240hrs o­n the next between 1st April to 27th June 2015. In the return direction, 00852 Bangalore Cant-Bhubaneswar bi-Weekly PREMIUM Special train will leave Bangalore Cant at 0100hrs o­n every Monday & Friday (just after midnight of Sunday & Thursday) and will arrive at Bhubaneswar at 0145hrs o­n the following days between 3rd April to 29th June 2015.

This train has O­ne AC-2 tier, Four AC-3 tiers, 11 Sleeper Class Coaches, Two Guard cum Luggage Vans and O­ne Pantry Car in its composition having stoppages at Brahmapur, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Renigunta and Jolarpettai between Bhubaneswar and Bangalore Cant from both the directions.

02882 Bhubaneswar-Pune Weekly PREMIUM Special train will leave Bhubaneswar at2215hrs o­n every Sunday and will reach Pune at 0​500hrs o­n Tuesday between 5th April to 28th June 2015. In the return direction, 02881 Pune-Bhubaneswar Weekly PREMIUM Special train will leave Pune at 1115hrs o­n every Tuesday and will arrive Bhubaneswar at 1735hrs o­nWednesdays between 7th April to 30th June 2015.

This train has O­ne AC-2 tier, O­ne AC-3 tier, 10 Sleeper Class Coaches, Two Guard cum Luggage Vans and O­ne Pantry Car in its composition having stoppages at Brahmapur, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Secunderabad and Solapur between Bhubaneswar and Pune from both the directions.

08449 Bhubaneswar-Patna weekly special train will leave Bhubaneswar at 1530hrs o­n every Friday and will reach Patna at 1140hrs o­n Saturdays between 3rd April to 26th June 2015. In the return direction, 08450 Patna-Bhubaneswar weekly special train will leave Patna at1400hrs o­n every Saturday and will arrive Bhubaneswar at 0700hrs o­n Sundays between 4thApril to 27th June 2015.

This train has O­ne AC-2 tier, O­ne AC-3 tier, 10 Sleeper Class Coaches, Four General Second Class Coaches and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Cuttack, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore, Hijli, Adra, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Makama and Fathuha between Bhubaneswar and Patna from both the directions.

08401 Puri-Santragachi weekly special train will leave Puri at 2125hrs on every Fridayand will arrive at Santragachi at 0630hrs on the following days between 3rd April to 26th June2015. In the return directions, 08402 Santragachi-Puri Express will leave Santragachi at1900hrs on every Saturday and will reach Puri at 0400hrs on the next days between 4th April to 27th June 2015.

This train has o­ne AC-2 tiers, o­ne AC-3 tier, Nine Sleeper Class Coaches, Four General Second Class Coaches and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore and Kharagpur between Puri & Santragachi.

08301 Sambalpur-Yesvantpur Special train will leave Sambalpur at 0850hrs o­n everyWednesday between 1st April to 24th June 2015 and will arrive at Yesvanpur at 1630hrs o­n the next days. In the return direction, 08302 Yesvantpur-Sambalpur Special train will leave Yesvantpur at 0030hrs o­n every Friday (Midnight of Thursday) between 3rd April to 26thJune 2015 and will arrive Sambalpur at 0615hrs o­n the Saturdays.

This train will run with o­ne AC-2 tier, o­ne AC-3 tier, 10 Sleeper Class Coaches, Three General Second Class Coaches and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Bargarh Road, Balangir, Titilagarh, Kesinga, Muniguda, Rayagada, Parvatipuram, Bibbili, Vizianagaram & Visakhapatnam in East Coast Railway jurisdiction between Sambalpur & Yesvantpur.

08501 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Express will leave Visakhapatnam at 2300hrs o­n every Tuesday between 7th April to 30th June 2015 and will arrive at Secunderabad at 1145hrs o­n the following days. In the return direction, 08502 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam weekly Express will leave Secunderabad at 1630hrs o­n every Wednesday between 8th April to 1st July 2015 and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 0630hrs o­n the next days.

This train will run with o­ne AC-2 tier, Two AC-3 tiers, Nine Sleeper Class Coaches, Six General Second Class Coaches and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Duvvada, Anakapalli, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Elluru, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal and Kazipet between Visakhapatnam & Secunderabad.

02873 Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Express will leave Visakhapatnam at 1645hrs o­n every Monday between 6th April to 29th June 2015 and will arrive at Tirupati at 0430hrs o­n the following days. In the return direction, 02874 Tirupati-Visakhapatnam weekly Express will leave Tirupati at 1600hrs o­n every Tuesday between 7th April to 30th June 2015 and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 0515hrs o­n the next days.

This train will run with o­ne AC-2 tier, Two AC-3 tiers, Nine Sleeper Class Coaches, Six General Second Class Coaches and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Duvvada, Anakapalli, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada and Renigunta between Visakhapatnam & Tirupati.

            Apart from this, a number of Special Trains have been planned to ply between different destinations of the country through East Coast Railway jurisdiction during Summer and will also create more berths from ECoR. These apart, important regular trains have been planned to be augmented with additional coaches during the period by creating additional berths.​
